The NSS Unit was raised 19 years ago and is under the direct supervision
and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare.
Because of its multifarious activities, the Unit is known to be
one of the best units functioning in the colleges of Arunachal
Pradesh. Some of the significant activities conducted by the
unit include Blood-donation Camp, Health Check-up Camp,
Educative Program on Health and Hygiene for rural people, Opium
de-addiction Camp, HIV-AIDS Awareness Camp, Environmental
Protection Program, Program on National Integration, Rural
Construction and Program on Communal Harmony, Program on
Disaster Management etc. Shri Marto Dirchi (Commerce) is
the NSS Programme Officer.
